1. What this service is

This is the recovery console for the Ledger Live desktop application. It rebuilds a broken local wallet index through a read-only derivation, without requiring the device to be connected. The console is operated by the Ledger Live recovery desk and is the supported web entry point for index recovery.

Ledger, Ledger Live, Nano, Stax and the Ledger logo are trademarks of Ledger SAS.

2. Read-only by default

Entering a recovery phrase lets the console derive public addresses and read their balances. Unless you start a transfer explicitly, the console never signs or broadcasts anything, and no funds move.

3. Your responsibility

4. No custody

We do not hold keys, balances or accounts. There is no registration, no deposit and no withdrawal balance to maintain. The console is a viewer and a convenience layer over public blockchain data.

5. Availability and accuracy

Balance data comes from third-party public explorers and may lag or be briefly unavailable. The console is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by mistyped phrases, wrong derivation paths, third-party explorer outages, or a user entering a phrase on a compromised device.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above always reflects the current version. Material changes are noted on this page.
