Why is the phrase needed? → Account addresses are derived from it. That is the only way to rebuild the index that was lost.

Do you keep my private keys? No. The console is read-only — keys never leave your side, funds are not moved by it.

Do you need my PIN or password? No. The PIN lives on the device and is not used here.
